iPhone Update auf Version 1.0.1 erschienen! Vorsicht!
Apple hat gestern das erste Update für sein iPhone veröffentlicht. Damit werden verschiedene Sicherheitslücken geschlossen. Der genaue Changelog kann unter http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306173
eingesehen werden. Wer vor hat weiterhin auf seinem iPhone hacks bzw. eigene Programme laufen zu lassen sollte vorerst nicht updaten. Folgende Probleme treten auf laut dem iPhone Dev Wiki:
The iPhone Software Update 1.0.1 has been released. Here are the things we currently know about it:
- Full system wipe on modded phones (fails integrity check)
- Downgrade does not work (Kind of mixed reports here. Apparently you can go through the process, but Settings > General > About still says 1.0.1)
- The phone goes back through the activation process (DVD Jon’s method has been confirmed to work still along with the other Windows methods)
- Jailbreak 1.0 appears to work just fine
